Winning Kaizen Event Facilitation

We’re with you every step of the way, working hand and hand with you and your team to design, develop, and execute the Kaizen event to solve your most critical business problems

Alignment and Readiness Check

A 30 - 60 minute strategy call, assessing your top pain points, determining fit, and aligning around the Kaizen Ninja approach. We will get to know one another, and decide on next step(s).

The Test Drive

A one-day visit to your facility to identify the highest value opportunities for Kaizen event facilitation and assess organizational readiness for sustainable process improvement efforts. While on site, we will scope out the top 1 - 3 highest value events and build our plan for a winning outcome together.

Winning Leadership Preparation

Using our Chartering to Win process, 4 - 6 weeks in advance of the Kaizen event, we will partner with you to clearly define the problem to be solved, the value to the business, scope of the effort, makeup of the team, and objectives to be achieved by the end of the Kaizen event. Leaders will understand their role in the overall Kaizen event process, including how they should engage and participate and approve changes to be made in advance. During these virtual and on-site (as necessary) meetings, the Wheel of Sustainability will be shared, to prepare the organization to support lasting change.

Winning Team Leader Preparation

We will partner with the Kaizen event team leader, 4 - 6 weeks in advance of the scheduled event, to prepare them for their role during the event week. These meetings will be virtual leading up to the event, but will culminate with a on-site meeting the day before the event kicks off. We will create a session plan to deliver the Kaizen event objectives, set up the meeting spaces for maximum effectiveness of the team, and review all elements of the Wheel of Sustainability to prepare and align the team leader to support and drive lasting change for the organization.

Winning Kaizen Event Facilitation

This is where the magic happens. We design and deliver the event, using our Kaizen Ninja approach, to engage the team, give them equal voice, have some fun, and meet and/or beat the Kaizen event objectives and sustain the improvements achieved. All changes and improvements are implemented during the Kaizen event week (low to no homework!) The Wheel of Sustainability is utilized to lock in all improvements so that the benefit is realized immediately and into the future. The implemented changes include, but are not limited to: physical and procedural improvements, training materials, visuals, standard operating procedures, audits, and process ownership. The Kaizen event will be delivered at your facility, with improvements happening in real time.

Winning Kaizen Event Follow-up

The most important day in Kaizen is the day after. We’re still with you, ensuring that the Kaizen team receives the needed support to ensure that their changes and improvements live on. This is a series of follow-up meetings with leadership and the team to help them deal with any challenges they be facing following the Kaizen event. These meetings are typically virtual, but could also be on-site, and last anywhere from 1 to 3 months following the Kaizen event.
