Site AssessmenT

We identify critical issues, improvement opportunities and approaches to realize those improvements. This is a 6-hour activity that engages leadership and those who work in the process to ensure alignment around approach and next steps.


Workplace Organization (5S)

A fun and fast paced session, where teams realize significant productivity gains and reduction of safety risk. We use a structured approach to remove clutter, place things in their optimal locations, maintain resources in top condition, and implement systems to sustain the improvements. This is a 2- to 4 ½-day session, depending on the size and scope of improvement needed.


Process Optimization (Standard Work)

This session brings people together to determine the safest and most productive way to accomplish critical tasks. We guide the team to implement managing systems that ensure everyone follows the improved process. This is a 2- to 3-day session, depending on the scope and complexity of the effort.


Cultural Transformation

This ongoing effort to drive an organization to a culture of continuous improvement utilizes leadership coaching, mentoring, demonstrations, and implementation of the key drivers of cultural transformation. Assistance is provided until the organization is ready to take complete ownership of the cultural transformation.

Cost Reduction Ideation, Prioritization,
and Implementation

This session challenges teams to come up with ideas to reduce costs in their business, without negatively impacting safety, quality, or the customer experience. Once the ideas have been generated, they are prioritized, organized, scoped out, and then planned out over a defined time horizon. Teams have regularly beaten savings targets, which can be in the millions of dollars. This session can last between 2 and 4 days, depending on the scope and complexity of the effort.


Breakthrough Creativity (3P)

Through creativity methods, this session drives teams to uncover breakthrough solutions to critical problems.  Clients have said they accomplished more in this session than they had in the months leading up to it. This is a 4 ½-day session, and at the end of it, team members will feel energized and accomplished.


Failure Prevention (FMEA)

The focus of this session is to stop problems before they happen through the identification, prioritization, development, and implementation of preventative actions. This session lasts anywhere from ½ day to a full week, depending on the scope and complexity of the system to be analyzed.


Visual Management and Shop Floor participation (Gemba Walks)

What does it take to truly engage the shop floor work force and drive accountability for daily results? This session is designed to help build the plan and leadership actions that will drive the performance of the shop floor to higher levels and improve the engagement of the workforce. This session can last between 2 and 4 days, depending on the scope of the effort.

Strategic Planning (VSM)

This session brings teams together to develop a road map of organizational improvements that will create alignment, visibility, and accountability for implementation of the road map. Our clients have found millions of dollars in opportunities utilizing the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) approach to strategic planning. This is a 3- to 4-day session engaging all levels of the organization.


Changeover Reduction (SMED)

This session is designed to help teams cut changeover times in half or more. Teams will be trained in the proven methodology (SMED), and learn how to apply it in a real situation to drive time and effort out of the processand drive customer response time down significantly. This session lasts between 3-5 days.


Plant Reliability Improvement (OEE)

This ongoing effort to drive an organization to World Class Reliability utilizes Standard Work, Visual Management, Shop Floor participation, Best Practice Maintenance and Continuous Improvement Events. Assistance is provided until the organization is ready to take complete ownership of the improvement efforts.


Best Practice Facilitation

This training course is designed to help teams facilitate more productive meetings and events. Participants will receive training through demonstrations, discussions, and hands-on activities. This is a 6-hour course and is ideally suited for groups of 8-20.
